La Jasse wines' story
The typical Languedoc story of the estate
Before the 1960s, most of Languedoc region was used for livestock. Gradually, settlers from North Africa became landowners and decided to expand the vineyard area. Hans Walraven, a Dutch wine importer, found the perfect terroir to fulfill his dream : producing a great Cabernet Sauvignon. With the help of Bruno Le Breton and his team, he transformed this vineyard into an exceptional estate, using the best of these unique conditions.
The handover
In 2008, Hans Walraven retired and left the torch to Bruno Le Breton. Together, they designed La Jasse wines with the constant concern to produce every year the 'everyday Grand Cru'.
Bruno Le Breton has since continued to transmit the historical values of Jasse wines through CSR: Corporate Social Responsibility. Behind the signature "let's make, all together, a better world and wine", he expresses the philosophy and the spirit of the relationships that we wish to develop with all our stakeholders to both ensure the sustainability of our company and contribute to a better world for future generations.
